It’s Not Business, Only Personal

If you ever watched the classic, “The Godfather”, you may be scratching your head. Trust me, I know what I said.

Four months ago, to the dismay of many of us, a very different dysfunctional family left our small screens. The Roys brought family drama to a new low, or high, depending on how you look at it, but they definitely created must-see television in “Succession”. Sunday nights may not ever be the same without siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Shiv (Sarah Snook) fighting for Lear-like Logan’s approval/legacy. (Logan is played by Brian Cox) Minions abound including Shiv’s off-and-on husband Tom (yes, I just said off-and-on husband) and cousin Greg. The acting of all parties is above par. If you think that what I just described sounds complicated then the Titanic hit an ice chip.

“Succession” is a show that is built on spoilers. Not a single episode is safe and some of the hugest moments have slipped in mid-season on what seemed like the quietest, most unexpected times. With this in mind, I am loathe to share anything about the show other than it was my FAVORITE current show. I hated it ending.

My only consolation is that “Succession: The Complete Fourth & Final Season” will also be available to purchase on DVD on September 12. “Succession: The Fourth and Final Season” and “Succession: The Complete Series” are available now to purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.

So, if you want to fill an evening with ridiculous exploits and some of the worst people you will love to hate, grab your set of “Succession”.
