Ultimate Blog Party 2014!

Years ago, I joined 5 Minutes for Mom and their Ultimate Blog Party. I made lots of friends so I decided to join again this year!In case you're new to my Universe, I am Traci. I was a professional actress in New York after studying at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Acting was my life. That and my wonderful husband, AKA Mr. Hero. He gained that moniker when he chose to join the military after 9/11. Since making that choice, we moved to Texas and I became a military wife and SAHM to my two children (known here as Sony-Bunny and Little Diva). I loved being a Mom but I found myself lost in my life. I felt so blessed by a loving, healthy family yet I had difficulty resolving the dreams of my youth with the reality.Thus I began blogging. I saw the film Julie and Julia and thought, "I want to do that!" (the blogging not the cooking) And so I did.Some of you may have know me at my first blog, 38 and Growing. You can tell by that title that I did not expect to blog long term. When my 39th birthday rolled around, I realized just how very much I loved blogging. I loved writing. I loved the creative/artistic outlet. Mostly, I loved the circle of friends I had developed through blogging. As they say, bloggy friends are real friends. So I created A Star in My Own Universe - notice there is no expiration date on this title. LOL!I figured that while life had not made me a star in Hollywood, I could be a star here.
