Articulate in August -- A Look Back in Time

This is Thanksgiving  1994 just before my hubby and I said our "I do"s. Taken nearly two decades ago, it makes me smile. There are faces that have grown up, faces that have grown older, and faces that have left. All live in my heart daily. My Family Stars in 1994  At the top left is my Uncle Ralph, the junior to the handsome gentlemen next to him -- my grandfather "Dadau" who has left us but awaits his beautiful bride -- the lovely blonde sitting at the bottom left.Obviously that is me (please ignore the eyebrows - remember it was 1994) hugging my handsome groom-to-be in the center. Behind me is my fabulous Daddy AKA Daddy Doug to my children. Next to my father is my brother Daryl (then a high schooler, now a husband and father) and to the right of him is my brother Will. I love this picture of William as his personality shines through. Less than a year later, Will left our picture. In front of hubby is my cousin Jacob who served as our ring bearer and much later asked my son to do the same in his wedding. Sitting in front of me is my Aunt Sharlotte -- the lovely wife to Uncle Ralph and mother to both Jacob and that cutie in her lap. That's John and he recently graduated college!Center front is my Aunt Barbara who is the mother to those three beautiful girls in the picture -- all were in my wedding. Immediately next to me is Erin, now expecting her second daughter and step-mother to a third. On Barbara's lap is sweet Hanna who is living her dream helping children and in front of her is Sara. Sara was a junior bridesmaid all those years ago and this year she will become a bride. To the right of my Aunt is my great-grandmother Lei. This was about two weeks before her 90th birthday. She still colored her hair black and wore red lipstick then and now she is now a very special angel keeping Heaven stylish and on their toes. Finally, at the bottom right is my wonderful Mommy; now Nana. Not everyone I love is in this pic but I love everyone in this picture. Twenty years have passed in a heartbeat yet when I look at this photo, I see just how much time has passed.Do you have a photo that is a Look Back in Time? Share it with with us:
