Friday Fragments #44 -- Going Back to Cali

It's Friday and I don't know where you are but here's where I'm at...Yes... That has been my view since Tuesday. I have been attending the Mom 2.0 Summit and it has been fabulous! I have been meeting terrific people, learning a lot, and again... did you see that picture?

But I have also been dealing with a broken-hearted daughter. She has spent multiple FaceTime calls bawling and begging me to come home. Insert Mommy Guilt here.

I did have a sweet moment with my boy, however. The night before I left, Sonny-Buuny kept asking when I was going to leave. He would say things like "Yay" or that he couldn't wait somewhat sarcastically. The night that I was leaving, he asked if he could come climb into bed with me."Why would you want to do that? You said you wouldn't miss me," I asked."Well, you'll miss me..." he answered as he nestled in."Oh, alright then. You're right. I shall miss you.""I miss cuddling," he said as we dozed off.Me, too. Sonny-Bunny. Me, too.
