Friday Fragments #48 - Birds, Baseball, and Bueller
It was a Busy "B" week in my universe. Despite the rain that has overtaken my home this morning, there were several days of sun and maybe even, a little fun. Let's take a look at the week's Fragments. It began immediately after hitting publish last Friday. You may remember I teased that I was headed to swim with the dolphins. I'm writing a full post about the fabulous experience (so yes, this is another tease - LOL) but here I am making a big check on the bucket list! This was part of a full day of fun at SeaWorld in San Antonio. Little Diva got soaked. I mean SOAKED...and we got to see her favorite birds - flamingoes!

Not a Home Run, But Fun!
On Wednesday, my dad took the two star kids and me to see the Houston Astros play the Baltimore Orioles. We had terrific seats and it was Hot Dog Night. Who could ask for anything more? I could ask for a tween son not to pick on his sister and stop acting like he's bored by everything. While I'm at it, I am going to ask for world peace and an end to hunger. Alas, back to the game! And said tween did have a little fun. It's amazing what an oversized foam finger can do.

Finally, did you know that this week was the 30th anniversary of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"?I still love this movie. I can't hear "Twist and Shout" without seeing a baby-faced Matthew Broderick atop the parade float. I have a theory that it's really Cameron's Day Out but that's for another post.
Happy 30th, Ferris Bueller!
