reviewsLast month, I attended one of the greatest toy parties in the world - Sweet Suite at Blogger Bash New York. At the event, I got to check out some of the most fun toys and collectibles. Among them, was a personal favorite -- the World's Smallest Toys.

Sometimes Being Small is Very Big

Classics like Etch-a-Sketch, Stretch Armstrong, and yes, the Rubik's cube have been brought back in the tiniest of forms.

I was provided a set of toys for the purpose of this review. This post includes affiliate links. All opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.

toys, puzzlesHere's Sonny-Bunny checking out the Rubik's Cube. He couldn't resist turning. Can't say that I didn't warn him. He's still working on it. I am having flashbacks to Christmas 1984 when I pulled a (full size) cube out of my stocking. I couldn't wait to start, but I never solved more than one side. Let's see if he has any better luck than I. Maybe it's easier if it's small? Somehow, I don't think so. :)I absolutely love these because they bring a part of my childhood into the world of my children. And anything that enthralls my tween boy that does NOT involve a screen jumps way up in my estimation. He likes them so much that he has requested a shelf in his room for his "collectibles".

Ring, Ring... Nostalgia Calling

I had all of these, but the tiny Chatter Telephone really takes me back. Not only did it ring throughout my home but seemingly every church nursery, preschool, and kindergarten class. (Side Note: I loved that they included Chatter in Toy Story 3!)toys, collectible, Fisher-Price

Did you have any of these as a child? What brings you back to your childhood?
