Do you have a hobby? It seems like a funny questions these days. When I was a kid, I had several including collecting. I collected bells and stamps from around the country. It was a fun way to learn about different places.

We Needed a Hobby!

My children don't have hobbies to speak of, especially my son. Unless you count watching youTube videos, which I don't. So when I heard of 3-D Coin Art, I was intrigued. The US Flag Puzzle looked like it might even interest Sonny-Bunny, aka The Tween Boy.

I received a small stipend and a 3D Coin Art US Flag for the purpose of this review.All opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.

And it did interest him! Look at that face.So we got going. He started building...He did it with it ease. I always worry with plastics that they might not click together well or stay together well. That was no problem with the 3D Coin Art.I got to searching my coin purse. And under the beds. And between couch cushions. One of the cool things about the Coin Art is it creates an opportunity to look how coins have evolved. I found two different generations of pennies and nickels. I only wish I could have found some wheat pennies for him.The puzzle uses dimes, nickels, and pennies. Don't worry, no quarters. You won't go broke filling it. in fact, the whole collection totals $25. We only had about a $1 in change so there is still a ways to go.But that's the fun of it, isn't it?I don't know how long the new hobby will last or if he will raid the puzzle for money before it's finished but for now, it provided a lovely evening between mom and son. And as we are three weeks from the big 13, those are more treasured than any coins we could find.What are your hobbies? Do you collect anything?
