In season one of “the pebble”, I spoke with charming Irishman and Digital Mentor, Alan Hennessy. A Stranger is a Friend Waiting to Happen

It's a great saying… the person that's standing next to you is your friend; you just don't know it yet

A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet

That quote tells you just about everything you need to know about Alan. He sees the world through the scope of not looking up to or down at people, but rather across, directly at them.

For me, it comes down to living life, as if we adults lived by what Mr. Rogers taught our children. One thing he said was that the stranger is just a friend you don't know yet. If we abided by all the things that he was teaching our children, the world would be a kind and happy place.
