I Feel Pretty

To begin, I experienced a blow out at #BloTheWoodlands. I have stick straight, baby fine hair and I was living under the misapprehension that blow outs were for girls blessed with curls. But no, blow outs are for everyone - this wacky blonde, included. Thanks to the lovely Chelsea, a long-held dream was made real -- I got Meg Ryan hair! Yes, the ultimate fantasy of every flat-haired, RomCom lover!!!! Priscilla and I had the pleasure of talking shop with owner, Katie, and I expressed my surprise that blow outs were for me. She reminded me that this is not really a new idea. Our grandmothers used to go for a weekly setting. I know mine did. And while my hair could not handle a week, it did make it three days which is unheard of for me!The hair on my head wasn't the only strands getting prettified. I got lashed, too.Yep, I walked out of Blo Blowdry Bar feeling very pretty.And then, my nails joined the game at the Venetian Nail Spa. I cannot paint my own nails. Well, I can paint my left hand but when I go to paint my right... well, let's just say that my daughter can do a better job.
